Asthma Awareness Month 2021

Asthma Awareness Month 2021

Asthma Awareness Month 2021

Since 1998, each May, World Asthma Day (WAD) is celebrated in more than 35 countries to raise awareness for asthma patients.

Although asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases, affecting more than 339 million globally, there are still many misconceptions about it. This year, to address these misconceptions and how they can be misleading, the theme of World Asthma Day was announced by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA), a World Health Organization collaborative organization to be “Uncovering Asthma Misconceptions”.

This May, join us as we address these common asthma misconceptions, and clarify on-going myths.
